There is something for everyone to do!   No sewing experience is necessary! Our programs are open to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and anyone in the community who would like to participate in creating something meaningful for breast cancer patients.  "Community Fill A Heart Project" "Cut with Care," "Sew with Love," "Fill with Hope" 3-days / 5-6 hours each day / 600 pillows are created/ 25 to 30 Participants This program is our signature three-day heart pillow making marathon event.  The Fill a Heart Group connects with local sponsors to provide a casual and comfortable enviroment for individuals to participate in helping to make our heart shaped pillows.  Participants can attend as many hours or days as they like.  We look for 25 to 30 people each day to do tasks such as cut, sew, trim, iron, label, stuff, bag, complete gift enclosure cards and much more.  We create 600 pillows of which 200 are stuffed (filled) and delivered.  The remaining 400 pillows are used for our subsequent "Fill a Heart with Hope Days".    "Fill a Heart with Hope Day" Half day / 4 to 5 hours / 200 pillows are filled / 20 to 25 Participants This unique program is an extension to our 3-day pillow making marathons.  Pre-sewn pillows and fiberfill are brought in by the Fill a Heart Volunteers and made ready for stuffing (filling) during this event.  Participants help to stuff (fill), close, bag, complete gift card enclosures, and ready pillows for delivery.
